TSB: Chrysler Pacifica Oil Leak

This bulletin applies to 2022-2025 Chrysler Pacifica vehicles equipped with a 3.6L V6 24V VVT engine. The MIL may be on accompanied by DTC P06DD (engine oil pressure control circuit stuck off). Oil may be seen on the ground.

Be advised that oil filter assemblies are being unnecessarily replaced for oil leaks at a high rate. Before replacing the oil filter assembly, the leak must be properly diagnosed. This must include using oil dye P/N 5010032AB. The leak may be coming from the filter cap, in which case replace the oil filter and the filter cap’s O-ring with Mopar service kit 68191349AC. Some aftermarket filter and O-ring kits will not seal properly. The leak may be at the valve cover, mating surface of the oil filter assembly to the block.
