TSB: Jeep Compass TCM Reprogram
This bulletin applies to 2024 Jeep Compass vehicles built on or before October 12, 2023 and equipped with a 2.0L I4 DOHC DI Turbo engine and 8-speed automatic transmission 8F30. Customers may experience a MIL on. DTC P0883-00 (TCM power output signal high) may be set. The vehicle may be in limp mode.
The cause is TCM software. Reprogram the TCM with the latest available software version.
