TSB: BMW Coolant Over Fill

This bulletin applies to 2022 BMW M5, M8, 7 Series, 8 Series and 5 Series vehicles. An over-filled engine coolant system cause the release of coolant through the overflow, onto the electrically operated fuel injectors that are in the injector bore area.  Only refill the engine coolant to the max line located inside the expansion tank. BMW suggests the use of a syringe type filling tool.
