Quieting Chevy Equinox transmission noise

This bulletin applies to 2019-2020 Chevy Equinox vehicles equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

A wind and/or white static type noise may be heard near the transmission shifter. This condition may be caused by the transmission harmonics traveling through the transmission range selector cable.

The correction: replace the transmission range selector cable with P/N 84835018.
