The rear subframe features four retaining bolts. Always use the new upgraded bolts.

Torque specifications have not changed. All models except Tribeca are torqued to 107 ft-lb. Tribeca bolts are torqued to 70 ft-lb.
This bulletin applies to 2010-2021 Subaru Legacy, 2008-2021 Impreza, 2008-2020 WRX, 2008-2020 WRX STI, 2013-2020 BRZ, 2019-2021 Ascent and 2006-2014 Tribeca vehicles. The rear subframe retaining bolts have been redesigned to feature water drainage grooves under the bolt head. The bolt head flange thickness has also been increased.
Note that these four rear subframe bolts are intended as one-time use and must be replaced whenever they are removed.

For SBR/Japan-produced vehicles, the bolt P/N is 20058FL020. For vehicles that are SIA-U.S.-produced, the bolt P/N is 20058AL00B.
On models where the suspension height is measured using the top of the bolt head of the rear subframe bolts, these new bolts will reduce that specification by 2mm due to the added flange thickness.
