• Replacing Ford F-150 front brake hoses

    Some 2021 Ford F-150 trucks built on or before June 14, 2021, may exhibit a rubbing noise at the front of the vehicle while driving and/or DTC C0031 and/or C0034 in the anti-lock brake system module.

    Some 2021 Ford F-150 trucks built on or before June 14, 2021, may exhibit a rubbing noise at the front of the vehicle while driving and/or DTC C0031 and/or C0034 in the anti-lock brake system module. This may be caused by an incorrectly routed front brake flexible hose.

    If rubbing is found, replace the front brake hoses. The right side hose is P/N ML3Z-2078-K. The left hose is ML3Z-2078-L. Inspect the front wheel speed sensors and replace them if they have failed. 

    The sensors are P/N ML3Z-2C204-C. If you replace a front wheel speed sensor, you must also replace the brake caliper anchor plate bolts (W720613-S439. Brake hose crush washers are P/N W711784-S300.
