Inspecting Dodge fuel injector Julian dates

This bulletin applies to 2021 Dodge Charger vehicles equipped with the 6.4L V8 SRT Hemi engine, built on or after March 16, 2021, and on or before Aug. 11, 2021.

This bulletin applies to 2021 Dodge Charger vehicles equipped with the 6.4L V8 SRT Hemi engine, built on or after March 16, 2021, and on or before Aug. 11, 2021.

Customers may experience a MIL on. Misfire DTCs may be stored, including P0300 (multiple misfires), and/or P0301 (cyl 1 misfire), P0302 (cyl 2), P0303 (cyl 3), P0304 (cyl 4), P0305 (cyl 5), P0306 (cyl 6), P0307 (cyl 7), P0308 (cyl 8). The vehicle may exhibit a rough idle or misfire.

Remove the engine cover and remove the fuel rail injector covers. Inspect the Julian date on both fuel rails. If the Julian date starts with one of the following: 62M, 63M or 64M, inspect all eight fuel injector Julian dates.

If any of the fuel injector Julian dates are between M058A05490 and M058A05823, replace any fuel injectors labeled with Julain dates between those dates and clear DTCs. Note: the fuel injector O-rings may be re-used if no cuts, tears or deformation is evident.

Replacement fuel injector P/N is 05038337AB.
