Some 2018-2021 Lexus LC500, LC500h, LS500 and LS500h vehicles and some 2021 LC500c vehicles may exhibit a “spring” noise upon release of the accelerator pedal. A new updated pedal is now available to eliminate this concern.

Detach the four claws and remove the accelerator pedal pad. Remove the two bolts and the accelerator pedal. Disengage the accelerator pedal sensor rod from the pedal retainer. Install the new accelerator pedal. Engage the pedal sensor rod into the pedal retainer. Install the new pedal with the two bolts and torque to 66 in-lb. Attach the four claws to install the pedal pad.
