You may find transmission fluid leaking from the bellhousing inspection cover. This condition may be caused by the automatic transmission case front cover seal being rolled or damaged.

According to GM, if the leak has been verified to be coming from the front cover seal, replace the automatic transmission case front cover seal P/N 24277112 and the torque converter fluid seal P/N 24293986.
