Mending BMW run rough condition

This bulletin applies to 2018 BMW 2 Series Coupe/Convertible, 3 Series Sedan/Sports Wagon/Gran Turismo, 4 Series Coupe/Convertible/Gran Coupe, X3 Sports Activity Vehicle, 7 Series Sedan, 5 Series Sedan and 6 Series Gran Turismo vehicles.

The vehicle may run rough or hesitate when accelerating from a stationary position. DTC FC21A02D (combustion control: valve lift correction at idle) may be stored in the DME fault memory. The cause: a software error in the DME (digital motor electronics).

Update the vehicle software using ISTA 4.27.10 or higher.
