Releasing Jaguar parking brake

Owners of 2018 Jaguar F-PACE, XE or XF vehicles may experience park brake and/or ABS warning messages on the instrument cluster.

Owners of 2018 Jaguar F-PACE, XE or XF vehicles may experience park brake and/or ABS warning messages on the instrument cluster.

The park brake may not release.

One or more of the following DTCs may be stored in the ABS control module:

  • C2007-13 (right motor – circuit open)
  •  C2008-13 (left motor – circuit open)
  •  C0037-14 (left rear wheel speed sensor – circuit short to ground or open)
  •  C0037-29 (left rear wheel speed sensor – signal invalid)
  •  C0037-2F (left rear wheel speed sensor – signal erratic)
  •  C003A-14 (right rear wheel speed sensor – circuit short to ground or open)
  •  C003A-29 (right rear wheel speed sensor – signal invalid)
  • C003A-2F (right rear wheel speed sensor – signal erratic)

The cause may be a loose connection at connector C34A. Check connection C34A/B in the left rear wheel arch. Check for loose pins/backed out pins. Repair as needed.
