This bulletin applies to 2010-2014 Jaguar XF (GTDI 2.0L gas, TD4 2,2L diesel, TDV6 3.0L diesel, V6 S/C 3.0L gas, V8 5.0L gas engines), 2010-2015 XK models, 2012-later XF and 2010-2014 XJ models. This involves a customer complaint of various fault warnings displayed on the instrument cluster which may include gearbox fault, parking brake fault, engine management light and dynamic stability control fault. Replacement of the parking brake module C2D41993 may be required.

Connect the Jaguar-approved battery support power supply.

Connect SDD to the vehicle and begin a new diagnostic session by reading the VIN and initiating the data collect sequence.

Read the diagnostic trouble code memory. If DTCs U0401-00 and P1571-64 are logged with the same timestamp, install a new parking brake module, then remove and install the existing stop lamp switch.

If DTC P1571-64 or any other DTCs are logged in the parking brake control module without U0401-00 at the same time stamp, remove and install the existing stop lamp switch.

When all tasks are completed and the DTC memory is cleared, exit the current session by selecting the session tab and then selecting the close session option.

Disconnect the SDD and the battery power supply.
