GM notes that when servicing 2016-2018 Buick Cascada vehicles equipped with a turbo 1.6L engine, use caution to avoid damage to turbocharger components. Turbochargers have been returned under warranty with damage to the wastegate actuator solenoid vacuum port fittings and bypass valve port fittings.

Service parts are available for the bypass valve, wastegate solenoid and wastegate actuator in kits. Do not replace the turbocharger assembly for damage to the components contained in the related kits.
