Replacing BMW DSC Unit

This bulletin applies to 2017 BMW 750i vehicles with the following Check Control Messages displayed: 02D6 (electromechanical holding brake) and 02D7 (electromechanical holding brake failed).

The cause: a failed DSC unit. Replace the DSC.

This bulletin applies to 2017 BMW 750i vehicles with the following Check Control Messages displayed:

    - 02D6 (electromechanical holding brake)

    - 02D7 (electromechanical holding brake failed)

Fault messages stored in the DSC (dynamic stability control) unit may be:

    - -0x480766 (PB_MOTOR_SHORT_TO_B_PLUS or PB_MOTOR_SHORT_TO_GND)

    - 0x80767 (PB_MOTOR_SHORT_TO_B_PLUS_RR or PB_MOTOR_SHORT_TO_GND_RR)

The cause: a failed DSC unit. Replace the DSC.
