A Check Following Service on Ram

This bulletin applies to 2013-2015 Ram trucks. The customer may note that the MIL is illuminated after the vehicle was serviced. The technician may find DTC U11E9 is either active or stored (lost communication with AGS (active grill shutter) is set if the vehicle is started while the AGS electrical harness connector is disconnected. If the MIL comes on after performing a service that involves disconnecting the AGS connector, use a scan tool to confirm the presence of DTC U11E9.  Make sure the harness connector is connected and clear any DTCs. Perform a test drive to verify that the DTC is gone.
