This bulletin applies to 2015 Jeep Compass and Patriot vehicles built on or before June 29, 2015, and equipped with a 2.4L engine. If the customer complains about a MIL on with cold start and cruise control issues, reprogram the PCM with the latest available software. The cruise control acceleration may seem too fast at low speeds around 35 mph, and the engine may be hard to start when cold. The technician may find DTC P219A (bank 1 air fuel ratio imbalance) and P050B (cold start ignition timing performance).
