Fuel Odor Hits Lincoln MKS

Some 2014 Lincoln MKS vehicles equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine and built on or before February 20, 2014, may exhibit a raw fuel odor that is most noticeable near the intake manifold.

Some 2014 Lincoln MKS vehicles equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine and built on or before February 20, 2014, may exhibit a raw fuel odor that is most noticeable near the intake manifold.

Remove the intake manifold and replace the high-pressure fuel tube. It is not necessary to remove the fuel injection pump to perform this procedure.
