This bulletin applies to all 2008 and newer Nissan vehicles except Leaf and Titan XD with a V8 diesel engine.
The MIL may be on with DTC P0456 (EVAP very small leak). If you verify that the DTC is not caused by a loose fuel fill cap, and an EVAP leak has been detected where the vent control valve mounts to the canister, the vent control valve O-ring seal is determined to be the cause. Replace the vent control valve as an assembly, as the O-ring is no longer available separately.
