Nissan Issue With O-ring Seal

This bulletin applies to all 2008 and newer Nissan vehicles except LEAF and Titan XD with a diesel engine.

This bulletin applies to all 2008 and newer Nissan vehicles except LEAF and Titan XD with a diesel engine. The MIL may be on, with DTC P0458 (Evap very small leak), where the DTC is not caused by a loose fuel fill cap, and the Evap leak has been detected where the vent control valve mounts to the canister. The vent control valve O-ring seal is determined to be the cause.

Replace the vent control valve as an assembly. The vent control valve O-ring seal is no longer available as a service part.
