• Jeep Oil Temperature Too Low

    This bulletin applies to 2015 Jeep Wrangler vehicles built on or before March 16, 2015 and equipped with a 3.6L engine and 6-speed manual transmission, that exhibit a too-low engine oil temperature after an extended idle. The MIL may be on. DTC P1239 (engine oil temp too low) may be stored.

    This bulletin applies to 2015 Jeep Wrangler vehicles built on or before March 16, 2015 and equipped with a 3.6L engine and 6-speed manual transmission, that exhibit a too-low engine oil temperature after an extended idle. The MIL may be on. DTC P1239 (engine oil temp too low) may be stored. The starter protection feature will be disabled and there may be a perceived misfire under normal acceleration.

    Reprogram the PCM with the latest calibration using software level 15.04 or higher.
