Security Access Denied

This bulletin applies to 2020 Jaguar XF vehicles. When attempting to complete the “Replace ECU” on a new PCM, the application finishes at the stage of learning the VIN in the module, with the error message “Security Access Denied.” 

PATHFINDER fails to set the module at the correct state to allow the VIN to be learned.  According to Jaguar, this concern has been fixed with the release of PATHFINDER V243.
