Wrong Brake Hose?

Ford issued a recall for a limited number of 2018 Escape and Lincoln MKC vehicles built in October 2017.

These vehicles may have been equipped with incorrect front brake hoses that may chafe against other components, possibly resulting in a brake fluid leak.
