Some 2015-2016 Toyota Sienna vehicles may exhibit a grease leak where grease is coming through the boot clamp area on the big end of the outboard front axle shaft joint.
If a grease leak is confirmed, check to see if there is any physical damage to the axle shaft and/or boot. If there is physical damage, the assembly must be replaced.
If there is no physical damage, but the boot is leaking grease, replace the complete axle shaft assembly. Do not simply replace the boot.
