This bulletin applies to 2011 and later Subaru Legacy vehicles equipped with a 2.5L naturally aspirated engine, specifically starting with VIN B*264171.

For manufacturing purposes, the purge hose/pipe configuration was changed, resulting in elimination of the hose. There is no interchangeability. The new style purge pipe and clamp is to be used only on vehicles after the VIN break, while the old style purge hose/pipe and clamp must be used on vehicles before the VIN break.
