A revised replacement air intake duct is available for these applications. If the insulator portion of the duct begins to separate from the duct and leak boost pressure, increased sound levels and a loss of power can result. The revised air intake duct has the insulator portions glued in place to prevent separation.
The revised air intake duct is available as P/N 14459AA740 for 2010-2012 Legacy and Outback; and P/N 14459AA750 for 2005-2009 Legacy and Outback, and all Forester and Impreza models.
