Busted battery cover

This TSB applies to 2004-2010 Mazda3 and Mazda5 models. During removal or installation of the battery cover, excessive force may result in breaking the retaining clips. The battery tray tab may be broken if the tab is pulled with “strong force.”

This TSB applies to 2004-2010 Mazda3 and Mazda5 models. During removal or installation of the battery cover, excessive force may result in breaking the retaining clips. The battery tray tab may be broken if the tab is pulled with “strong force.”

Slowly release the outer side tab by about “1/7-inch” according to Mazda.
