E-Series Oil Consumption

Some 2011-2013 Ford E-Series vehicles equipped with a 5.4L 2V or 6.8L 2V engine and built on or before 11-12-2012 may exhibit excessive engine oil consumption.

Some 2011-2013 Ford E-Series vehicles equipped with a 5.4L 2V or 6.8L 2V engine and built on or before 11-12-2012 may exhibit excessive engine oil consumption.

The issue may be worn or improperly fitted valve stem oil seals. If this is the case, remove the engine and replace all valve seals.
