Mashed Ram 2500 oil pan?

As a result of extreme off-road use, the front axle skid plate may contact the oil pan on 2010-2011 Ram 2500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, built after Sept. 1, 2009, and before Sept. 23, 2010.

As a result of extreme off-road use, the front axle skid plate may contact the oil pan on 2010-2011 Ram 2500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, built after Sept. 1, 2009, and before Sept. 23, 2010.

With the vehicle raised on a lift, inspect the oil pan. If any wear, damage, or scuff marks are evident, and if the damage appears likely from scuff plate contact at 2/3 suspension travel, replace both the oil pan and the scuff plate.
