This bulletin applies to 2018 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with a 6.7L Cummins Turbo engine, where the incorrect transmission oil level indicator may have been installed.

If during a fluid check, the transmission fluid level appears low, first check the transmission oil dipstick.

If the dipstick P/N is 53034117AB is installed, this is the correct dipstick, so continue to inspect for the cause of a low oil level. If this part number is incorrect, replace with dipstick 53034117AB and re-check the level.
