VW Auxiliary Heater Tip

This bulletin applies to all Volkswagen TDI diesels.

The auxiliary heater is designed to improve the heating performance under certain conditions via three glow plugs in the coolant flange.

If just one of the glow plugs becomes defective, the entire flange with the three glow plugs must be replaced to avoid coolant leaks.
