TSB: VW Head Gasket

This bulletin applies to 2022-2023 Volkswagen Taos and Jetta vehicles equipped with a 1.5L turbo engine. S low coolant level/coolant leakage in the engine bay may be reported. The original engine production head gasket design  can lead to coolant leaks. An improved head gasket design and gasket coating has been developed. If a coolant leak is detected between the cylinder head and engine block at the rear below the turbocharger, the head gasket must be replaced.
