Some owners of 2007-2015 Mazda CX-9 vehicles may comment about a check engine light on while driving. If DTC P2A04:00 (HO2S left hand circuit range/performance), P2272:00 (left hand signal stuck lean) and/or other DTCs are found during diagnosis, inspect the C-34 connector for engine oil contamination. If oil contamination is present, inspect the engine oil pressure switch for external leaks.
If a leak is found, replace the oil pressure switch. Clean the C-34 connector and harness of any oil. Inspect the related O2 sensors according to the instructions on MGSS on-line. If the related O2 sensors are not operating correctly, replace the affected sensor(s) as needed. Clear DTCs and test drive to confirm the repair
