Some 2018-2019 Ford EcoSport vehicles may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P0137 and/or P0141.
Jan. 9, 2024

Some 2018-2019 Ford EcoSport vehicles equipped with a 2.0L Duratec engine and automatic transmission and built Sept.1, 2017, through Nov. 28, 2018, may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P0137 and/or P0141. This may be due to a faulty catalyst monitor sensor as well as PCM software.

Replace the catalyst monitor sensor and reprogram the PCM using the latest available software.

The catalyst monitor sensor is available as P/N GN1Z-9G444-A. You will also need Motorcraft Penetrating and Lock Lubricant XL-1 and Motorcraft High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant XL-2.
