This bulletin applies to 2015-2019 Cadillac Escalade vehicles equipped with a 6.2L L86 engine. The SES lamp may be on with DTC P0282 and P0300 set as current or history. The possible cause involves damaged wires. If performing diagnostic checks for P0282, per the service manual, does not isolate the cause, the following may be helpful. (Note: Performing an engine harness wiggle test may or may not show the concern.)

Remove the intake manifold to inspect the #8 injector wiring where the bank 2 injector harness breaks out of the engine's main harness. Also inspect for hard contact with the transmission bellhousing. Remove the transmission cross member, lower the transmission and pull the harness up into the engine compartment to cut open and locate the chaffed circuit.
