• Stopping Cadillac Escalade harness rubbing

    This bulletin applies to 2015-2019 Cadillac Escalade vehicles equipped with a 5.3L or 6.2L engine.

    Concerns may include the SES and ABS MIL’s on, a service suspension system message, misfire, hesitation, low engine power, erratic transmission shifting, a no-crank, A/C inoperative, a low engine oil level message and/or fuses blown (STRTR fuse 11/104 and/or A/C clutch fuse 35/60).

    DTCs may be found including B393B, C0035, C0040, C0575, C0580, P0324, P0326, P0328, P0330, P0333, P0335, P0336, P0340, P0341, C0615, C0620, C0625, C0696, P0010, P0011, P0050, P0135, P0155, P0300, P250A, P0443, P0458, P0532, P0533, P0641, P06DA, P06DB, P06B6, P06B7, P2088, P2089, and/or P2230.

    These issues could be caused by the engine harness rubbing on the engine vacuum pump pulley. Inspect the harness. If rubbing is evident, inspect and repair wires as needed.
