Toyota Offers Tundra Trailer Brake Upgrade

Some owners of 2016-2017 Toyota Tundra trucks equipped with an integrated trailer brake controller have expressed dissatisfaction with the braking feel.

Some owners of 2016-2017 Toyota Tundra trucks equipped with an integrated trailer brake controller have expressed dissatisfaction with the braking feel. 

Revised software for the trailer brake control ECU has been developed to provide an alternative trailer braking feel.  Software version 12.10.018 or later is required.

Previous calibration ID was 8954F0C011 OR 8954F0C012. The new calibration ID is 8954F0C013.
