When the front windows are closed using the key fob's express-up function, they may fail to detect an obstruction and reverse direction. The defect does not conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 118, “Power-Operated Window Systems.”
A closing window that does not reverse as expected can pinch a passenger before retracting, increasing the risk of injury.
