The partnership aims to co-develop innovative solutions for the needs of professional shops.

SKF and Hazet have announced their technical partnership for the independent automotive aftermarket with the goal being to co-develop innovative solutions for the needs of the professional shops. The agreement involves an exchange of technical expertise aimed at providing tools and solutions for the replacement of the full SKF-aftermarket assortment.

"This partnership allows us to offer our customers real added value. Premium spare parts always go hand in hand with premium tools," said Philipp Herlein, head of global vehicle aftermarket SKF. "It is important for us to provide our customers with a full service around our products, which of course also includes the right tool solution. With Hazet, we have a partner in the field of tooling that meets our requirements in terms of quality and technical know-how."

Each company will engage in cohesive co-communication strategies to strengthen their brand presence and industry recognition. With more than 270 years of shared market presence, SKF and Hazet have combined their knowledge and resources in areas such as wheel bearings, steering and suspension, engine, and powertrain applications.

"We already have a strong market presence in the automotive hand tool and workshop equipment industry," said Matthias Hoffmann, managing partner Hazet. "The newly formed partnership with SKF offers us a valuable opportunity to consolidate and further expand our already strong market position."

With this agreement, SKF and Hazet will bring together some of their activities on a global scale, aiming for a lasting partnership that creates innovation and global reach.

“Growing the independent aftermarket is a core element of SKF’s automotive strategy and through the partnership with Hazet we set another prerequisite for successful execution of that direction,” affirmed Kerstin Enochsson, president automotive at SKF.
