Jeep's Pressure Sensor Reading is Wrong

This bulletin applies to 2018 Jeep Renegade, Cherokee and Compass vehicles, and replacing the PCM due to a P2226 (barometric pressure sensor) diagnostic trouble code.

This bulletin applies to 2018 Jeep Renegade, Cherokee and Compass vehicles, and replacing the PCM due to a P2226 (barometric pressure sensor) diagnostic trouble code. 

Customers may experience a MIL on and the vehicle may go into limp mode due to an inaccurate barometric pressure sensor reading.  

According to Chrysler, replace and program the powertrain control module. Use a scan tool to clear all DTCs.
