Tech Tip: Does your customer's car need an engine vitamin?

Dec. 29, 2017
Engines need free-flowing oil to stay lubricated and minimize friction.

Explaining the importance of preventive maintenance to consumers can be tricky. Many customers don’t give a second thought to what’s under the hood until something starts leaking, squealing or malfunctioning. Even car owners who get the oil changed every 3,000 miles might not think about what else they can do to keep their engines clean and running smoothly. So how do you teach them the value of a quality oil treatment?

Compare it to a vitamin supplement.

Humans need certain vitamins and minerals for good health. Those we don’t get from food can come in the form of vitamin supplements. For example, to improve circulation, someone might try vitamins B, C, E, B6 and potassium.

Similarly, engines need free-flowing oil to stay lubricated and minimize friction. To improve fuel economy, modern engine oils have gotten thinner and thinner, and vehicle manufacturers have expanded stop-start technology to a wider range of vehicles. As a result, today’s engines are at greater risk for increased friction and wear.

That’s where the engine vitamin comes in.

Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive supplements the engine oil to improve performance and reduce friction, heat and wear. Nano tungsten spheres coat rough and worn metal surfaces. Special additives also prevent oil from thinning at high temperatures where normal oil fails, making it suitable for performance vehicles as well as daily drivers.

Nano Prime removes sludge and varnish build-up to improve the vehicle’s oil circulation for better engine performance and life, increased fuel efficiency and horsepower.
