The OTC Front Hub Puller for 4WD Vehicles, No. 6290A, is designed for the removal of the front hub assembly, which is necessary for wheel bearing or brake rotor service. It provides the mechanical advantage and straight pull that isn't possible with a traditional slide hammer. The 6290A services 1988-2014 GM 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, and 1-ton trucks in addition to Tahoe, Suburban, and Yukon models. It also services 1994-2014 Dodge 3/4-ton and 1-ton Ram trucks, as well as 1998-2014 Ford 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks and Excursion models. The tool will not work on trucks with dual rear wheels.
