The California Nevada Automotive Wholesalers’ Association (CAWA) Chair of the Board Ed Jimenez appointed Doug Stanley of Levin’s Auto Supply in Sacramento Calif., as the 2013 vice chair of the association’s Membership & Education Committee.
Stanley will assist Borise Cota of Akebono Corporation, who is the current chair of the committee. The committee is responsible for developing recruitment and retention programs, training programs, oversight of the scholarship awards, recommends new services and programs and evaluates and recommends vendor endorsements.
CAWA is a regional automotive aftermarket trade association that represents auto parts jobbers, warehouse distributors, retailers, manufacturers and manufacturer representatives in California, Nevada and Arizona. The association provides education, legislative, regulatory and business support to the industry and its membership. It is one of the largest trade associations of its kind in the United States and recognized as a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry.
