CAWA Chair of the Board, Jack Gosnell of Next Level Parts, has appointed Daniel Biezonsky of the Dynamic Friction Company to the Association’s Manufacturers’ Advisory Council (MAC).

“Daniel has attended several CAWA leadership meetings in the past and the association is pleased he has stepped up to serve in CAWA’s leadership,” said Gosnell regarding the appointment. “We know and appreciate the fact that he will contribute to the future successes of the association and the industry it serves.”

On June 4, Biezonsky joined Dynamic Friction Company as a National Sales Manager overseeing all sales functions in North America. Previously, he worked for MotoRad Inc. as a Vice President of Sales managing all aftermarket, OES, specialty and tier-2 sales channels with responsibility of $60 Million in sales in Unites States, Canada, Mexico and Central America. While at MotoRad, Biezonsky reorganized the sales team, implemented previously non-existing sales procedures, renegotiated buying group contracts, increased company visibility within the industry and restored severed relationships with high potential target customers resulting in a sales increase over the previous year.

At Dorman Products, Inc., Biezonsky’s position as Director of Sales involved selling to auto parts warehouse distributors in 14 Western states with responsibility in excess of $100 Million in sales. Prior to Dorman Products, he worked at Denso Sales California, Inc. as a Senior Sales Analyst, analyzing sales for national auto parts chains such as AutoZone , CARQUEST and NAPA. Biezonsky made a significant impact at Denso by identifying internal, local and company-wide problem areas and then innovating, improving and redesigning corporate systems and strategies as well as implementing the changes. Prior to Denso, he worked at Sanyco Automotive, a Taiwan based, Tier 1 OEM, OES and aftermarket supplier, as an International Sales and Marketing Manager in charge of sales, marketing and distribution to Latin America and Puerto Rico. With his proficiency in the Spanish language and Hispanic culture, Biezonsky established Sanyco Automotive’s presence and brand recognition in Mexico, resulting in increased sales from zero to $4 million.

Biezonsky received his BA in International Relations from the University Of Southern California. In his spare time, he enjoys modifying and restoring classic trucks and automobiles. He has been invited to lecture on several occasions at Cal State Dominguez Hills University speaking on topics of international business. He resides with his wife, daughter and two sons in Woodcrest, California.
