Mazda Telematics DTC

This bulletin applies to 2022-2023 Mazda MX-30, 2021-2023 CX-30, 2021-2024 CX-5, 2024 CX-90, 2025 CX-70 and 2021-2023 Mazda3 vehicles. Some vehicles may display a “Telematics Malfunction” message with DTC U3000:00-TCU (emergency call unit/telematics communication unit internal malfunction) or U3000:04-TCU (telematics communication unit internal malfunction) stored in memory. This is caused by improper control software of the TCU. Mazda has since modified the control software. Reprogram the TCU.
