This bulletin applies to 2025-2026 Buick Encore GX and Envista vehicles. The MIL may be on, with DTC P0690 (engine control ignition relay feedback circuit high voltage) and/or P16B3 (engine control ignition relay feedback circuit 2 high voltage) set. You may also find P2420 (evaporative emission system vacuum leak, pump module switching valve shorted to battery) set in ECM history. This condition may be caused by a short to power in the wiring or connectors to the evap emission system vacuum leak pump.

If no wiring issues are found, replace the evaporative emission system vacuum leak detection pump
