This bulletin applies to 2024-2025 Chevy Blazer EV, Equinox EV, Silverado EV, BrightDrop 400 and BrightDrop 600 vehicles. A “Service High Voltage” warning message may appear with DTC P1C01 set as history. The HVAC system may not be working properly. The cause may be due to software anomalies.
- Verify that BECM software update is available through SPS2 VWP programming.
- Program the BECM CAL update.
- Clear the code.
- Operate the HVAC system, while in Propulsion Mode in Auto 72F for 5 minutes.
- Confirm that proper compressor operation has been restored, monitor compressor speed signal in GDS and ensure that P1C01 has not reset. If the signal is greater than 750 rpm, compressor operation has been restored. If the signal is 0 rpm, operation has not been restored.
