Owners of 2018-2020 Jeep Wrangler or 2020 Gladiator vehicles may experience steering wander and or a lead/pull to the right or left. The lead/pull may be more noticeable in hot ambient temperatures. The steering may feel like it has excessive play.

Verify that the steering gear part number is correct. Installation of the incorrect steering gear will lead to undesired handling and will not address the concern.

Note that the aluminum steering gear frame bolts will have two different sizes of bolts. The new steel gear frame bolts are all the same size.

Replace the steering gear, Pitman shaft nut, frame bolts, and I-shaft pinch bolt. These must be replaced with new ones.
