This bulletin applies to 2022-2025 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV vehicles. The ABS MIL, SES MIL, Service Brake System warning, and Service StabiliTrak messages may appear. A change in brake pedal effort may also be experienced. DTC P0606 and P0562 may be set in the BSCM.
This condition is due to a low-voltage condition. This may be more prevalent in colder ambient temperatures and a lower battery state of charge. Test the battery using the GR8/DCBS and replace it if needed. Testing the battery at the ambient temperature where the issue occurs could help identify any battery-related issues. Inspect the battery, battery cables, engine harness junction/fuse block (X50A), and battery fuse block X50B connections for tightness and cleanliness.
If applicable, perform PIT6260 Dead battery/Excessive Battery Draw Drain Parasitic/Low Battery Voltage and reprogram the BCM. Also, inspect for any type of aftermarket equipment that could draw down the battery (dash cameras, cell phone chargers, etc.). Inspect for any parasitic draws.
