Buick Electric Coolant Pump

Some 2021-2024 Buick Envision vehicles equipped with a 2.0L engine may have a MIL on with DTC U0672 stored (lost communication with the electric engine coolant pump G59). The cause may involve a potential issue with the electric engine coolant pump connection.

Check for and correct any related wiring contamination, damage, terminal tension, crimp, etc. issues as needed. If no wiring issues are found, cycle the electric engine coolant pump connection and clear the DTC. If the code resets, follow the Global Service information to diagnose and repair the issue.
