Warning on hot Mazda is normal

This bulletin applies to 2016-2018 Mazda2, 2016-2021 CX-3, 2016-2020 MX-5, 2014-2018 Mazda3, 2016-2020 CX-5, 2014-2021 Mazda6 and 2016-2020 CX-9 vehicles.

This bulletin applies to 2016-2018 Mazda2, 2016-2021 CX-3, 2016-2020 MX-5, 2014-2018 Mazda3, 2016-2020 CX-5, 2014-2021 Mazda6 and 2016-2020 CX-9 vehicles.

A Mazda Connect Temperature Warning message may appear on the display screen: “Display is too hot. Screen performance may be decreased until it cools.” The warning message displays when the Mazda Connect screen temperature is above 176 degrees Fahrenheit.

This is a normal screen protection function. Do not perform repairs for this concern. Normal screen operation will resume when the screen temperature cools.
